The Ford Authority Take
Sales of the Ford Edge in Q2 2024 are starting to see the result of the Blue Oval’s popular midsize crossover having been discontinued as remaining stock gets sold off. Yet, even this past quarter, Ford took two of the top three spots in a competitive field of 23 entries thanks to the Explorer and Edge finishing first and third, respectively.
The 2024 model year is the last one for the Edge, with production ending in early May at the Oakville Assembly plant in Canada.
A grand total of 2,609,545 Edges were built over the 2007-2024 timeframe.
About Ford Edge
The 2024 Ford Edge was completely unchanged for its final year as it gets sent out to pasture, though the future of the nameplate remains unknown outside of China, where a next generation model is currently on sale.

Comments
My wife had a 2018 Ford Edge Titanium and when she heard the Edge was coming to an end, she ordered a 2024 Edge ST and loves it. We also went to Park City, UT with the Ford Motor Co ST SUV Experience and learned about all the new features and had a great time with all the power of the Turbo in the mountains. Of course, we used the Ford Motor Co vehicles for the experience.
We are also very sad to see the Edge discontinued as it was one of the best SUV’s of all brands.
