The refreshed 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor was unveiled last September, ushering in a host of changes for the high-performance, off-road-focused pickup, along with its more mainstream counterpart. The revised Ford F-150 Raptor has since launched in the U.S., though it’s also sold in various other global markets, and has been for some time. Now, we can add another to that list – the South American country of Argentina.
As part of Ford Performance’s launch in Argentina announced earlier this month, the Ford F-150 Raptor is set to join that country’s lineup as the very first new model under that banner. As one might imagine, it’s essentially identical to its American counterpart, however, in virtually every way. That means the same aggressive exterior styling, which includes a new modular front bumper, standard two hooks, a wide blackout grille, and new headlamps, along with new symmetrical hood graphics, new graphics above the wheel lip molding, a body side graphic located beneath each, and a blackout tape micro-texture paired with Code Orange coloring.
Power comes from the twin-turbocharged 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine, which is rated to produce 456 horsepower and 691 nM (510 pound-feet) of torque, flowing to all four wheels via the 10-speed automatic transmission. Underneath, the Ford F-150 Raptor comes with new Fox dual live-valve shocks with position-sensitive compression control and continuously variable rebound controls, which enhance off-road capability even further thanks to the fact that these units can adapt damping to match body control to the off-road environment via Ford Performance-developed off-road algorithms.
In Argentina, the Ford F-150 Raptor is available in four exterior colors – Ebony Black, Oxford White, Metal Blue, and Avalanche Grey. It is available at Ford Argentina dealers throughout the country, with a starting MSRP of $145,462,000 ($154,048 USD) and comes with a three-year, 100,000-kilometer (62k-mile) warranty. It joins the Ford Bronco Wildtrak and the 2024 Ford Mustang, which recently launched Argentina as well.
