With precious few exceptions, almost every model in the current Ford lineup experiences some sort of production decrease in the month of July, which isn’t terribly surprising given the fact that the automaker tends to implement summer shutdowns during that month – oftentimes, spanning up to two weeks. This was also the case with the Ford Maverick, it seems, as production of the compact pickup took a sharp dive last month, too.
According to Ford’s July sales report, Ford Maverick production dipped all the way from 16,509 units in June to 7,723 last month – a difference of 8,786 units, or 53 percent. That was also the Maverick’s lowest production total of the 2024 calendar year thus far, eclipsing March’s output of 13,156 units by a massive margin. As for the Ford Bronco Sport – which is also built at Hermosillo – it didn’t fare any better, as the rugged crossover dipped from 16,523 units in June to just 7,377 units in July – a drop of 9,146 units or 55 percent.
Looking ahead, the 2025 Ford Maverick is set to usher in the compact pickup’s very first refresh after it originally debuted for the 2022 model year. It has received a host of updates, including a revised front fascia, some new exterior colors, and a revamped trim level lineup that has added the Tremor (replacing the old Tremor Off-Road Package) and the sporty Lobo model.
Inside the cabin, the 2025 Ford Maverick gets a new 13.2-inch infotainment screen and an eight-inch digital instrument cluster as standard across the lineup, most notably, and all-wheel drive is available with the hybrid powertrain for the first time. However, all of these updates come at a cost, as the 2025 Ford Maverick lineup has been treated to a substantial price increase across the board.

The front ends of the 2024 Mavericks look much better than the 2025 Mavericks. The front ends of the 2025 Maverick are a terrible design. I would not buy a 2025 Maverick because of the poor design on the front grill bumper. Very disappointing.
The new front end grows on you. Once I realized that half of the old c shaped headlight was just plastic reflectors and that each trim level has its own style grill I’ve become more accepting of it. I’ve placed an order and can’t wait for my 2025 AWD Maverick hybrid! With all the additional added features, I’m very glad that I waited ! Thanks Ford for listening to all of us who wanted the AWD hybrid and for all the new safety features. This new Maverick is still a great bang for the buck considering all that you get !
Get rid of Mr Farley he fails to understand quality!
I wonder if it’s because the ’25 Maverick has a stupid, ugly, cheap, foreign looking new front design???
