Ford Towing Bootcamp Sessions Announced For Two U.S. States

Towing is one of those things that many of us learned how to do from a parent or grandparent, perhaps in an empty parking lot or a field of some sort. However, many don’t have access to things like that, and may want to learn how to tow for various reasons – whether that be to pull a camper or haul something for a business. Now, new Ford Towing Bootcamp sessions have been announced for two U.S. states that aim to teach folks precisely how to accomplish that properly.

The newly announced Ford Towing Bootcamp is a half-day experience that aims to teach students how to tow properly by incorporating a classroom session lead by CDL licensed instructors, followed by some hitching and unhitching practice in a low pressure learning environment, and then, the chance to put those newly-learned skills to work via a real world towing and backing up station on a closed-course.

The Ford Towing Bootcamp is slated to last four hours, and covers not only proper towing techniques, but also safety protocols and best practices, hands-on training with Ford’s latest towing technology, and includes free refreshments. Ford F-150 pickups and trailers will be provided, all at a cost that starts at $495. Those interested in signing up for the Ford Towing Bootcamp can do so by heading over here. There are currently two classes scheduled at the moment – one, in Raleigh, North Carolina at the Raleigh RV Show on August 23rd-25th, and in Dallas/Fort Worth at the Texas Motor Speedway on September 5th-8th.

This is just the latest of several new post-purchase experiences that Ford has launched in recent months, including a bevy of them for the 2024 Ford Mustang, as well as the Ford Bronco. In fact, The Blue Oval just revealed the new traveling Ford Mustang Experience Center back in April, which is on tour across the U.S. celebrating 60 years of the iconic pony car.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
