Here’s What We Expect From The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport

The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport is set for a midcycle refresh, rejuvenating the rugged crossover with revisions both inside and out. While the Blue Oval has thus far been silent about the upcoming Bronco Sport, Ford Authority has some insights on what’s in store. Below, we outline what we know and expect from the 2025 Bronco Sport.

Revised Front End With Functional Upgrades

Up front, the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport is being treated to a handful of minor updates, including the addition of functional equipment. Ford Authority spotted a couple uncovered prototypes sporting a front brush bar and a load-bearing attachment point in the front fender, indicating that the rugged crossover is getting even more off-road-ready features right from the showroom floor. Aside from that, the 2025 Bronco Sport is getting revised headlight and bumper designs that give it a somewhat more aggressive expression than its predecessor.

Revised Rear End With Functional Upgrades

There’s big news out back, too. The 2025 Bronco Sport is expected to features a set of rear tow hooks installed in the rear bumper, as evidenced by several prototypes. Previously, we spied another example with place for tow hooks, but the feature wasn’t present on this model. Even so, it’s safe to say that tow hooks are on their way to the Bronco Sport.

Sync 4 And Updated Interior

However, the biggest changes are on their way to the Bronco Sport’s interior. This includes a much larger infotainment screen. Specifically, it will feature the 13.2-inch unit lifted from the higher-tiered trims of the Ford Escape and the 2024 Ford Mustang. Bronco Sport’s HVAC vents have been repositioned below the screen with a row of buttons along the lowermost side of the screen. At this time, it’s unclear if all 2025 Ford Bronco Sport trims will get this larger screen or if it will be exclusive to the range-topping models. It’s worth noting that this particular screen is also destined for the Bronco Sport’s platform mate, the Ford Maverick, which is also getting a refresh for the 2025 model year.

Speaking of the Maverick, it’s likely that the Bronco Sport will share another feature with its pickup sibling: a hybrid variant. The Maverick is getting an all-wheel-drive (AWD) hybrid for the 2025 model year, and it stands to reason that the Bronco Sport will benefit from the powertrain, too.

Do you think the 2025 Bronco Sport will have an option for a standard transmission. That’s the reason I don’t own a bronco sport now. All automatics with a rotary dial shifter is all that’s offered.

Most likely not going to have a manual. The closest option is on the Badlands it has a manual mode with paddle shifters.

Shame it wasn’t made toad able. The RV crowd loves the soft off road vehicles.

Yuck. I’m so glad I own the 2024 model. I don’t need a bigger screen that sacrifices that nice cubby hole. And I certainly will never have a need for two hooks and brush bars !!!

I am having a hard time trying to figure out what’s changing outside…

It looks like a bunch of aftermarket-tacky changes on the outside and a nice updated interior…

I don’t understand who would think these exterior changes would be an “update”…probably the same people that designed the Lobo rims 😂😂😂😂

New interior controls look absolutely terrible. Lack of physical HVAC controls would be a dealbreaker for me, hate having to use a touch screen for that. The phsyical pause, skip, and back buttons were actually one of my favorite features of the infotainment unit. So happy I got the 2022 when I did.
