Just three races stand between the Cup Series field and the 2024 Playoffs, and only 16 drivers will make the cutoff and be able to compete for the overall title this year. Sports betting enthusiasts should take a closer look at the NASCAR Ford drivers to win it all, so let’s take a look at which racers are a good bet and which ones are a longer shot.
As per the latest betting odds from NASCAR.com, the longest shot in the field is Harrison Burton, whose No. 21 Ford Mustang Dark Horse has 1,500-1 odds of taking the title. Justin Haley, driver of the No. 51 Mustang, also has 1,500-1 odds, while Ryan Preece, driver of the No. 41 Mustang, looks a bit better at 800-1 odds to win, along with Todd Gilliland, driver of the No. 38 Mustang.
Next up is Noah Gragson, driver of the No. 10 Mustang. He’s favored at 250-1 odds, but bettors in search of a better chance should take a look at Michael McDowell, driver of the No. 34 Mustang, with 150-1 odds. Austin Cindric’s odds of 120-1 put him higher on the list to win the title, but he’s still got a long way to go.
Chase Briscoe’s No. 14 Mustang is favored at 100-1 odds, as is Josh Berry, driver of the No. 4 Mustang. Chris Buescher is a much safer bet at 35-1 odds of taking it all in the No. 41 Mustang, while Brad Keselowski’s No. 6 Must`ang is also a decent bet from the NASCAR Ford stable, favored at 22-1. Joey Logano could take another championship in the No. 22 Mustang, slotting in with 16-1 odds. Unsurprisingly, following his 2023 championship with a strong run so far in 2024, Ryan Blaney is the safest best in The Blue Oval’s stable, with 8-1 odds of taking it all in November.
It’s worth noting that the driver with the best odds in the field is Kyle Larson, driver of the No. 5 Chevy Camaro ZL1, with 19-5 odds, along with Denny Hamlin, driver of the No. 11 Toyota TRD Camry.
