Twelve races stand between the Cup Series field and the 2024 title, and as the season winds down, the NASCAR Ford drivers look even better to take the overall championship. Find out which drivers are the best ones to put money on this week and where your favorite driver slots in.
As per the latest betting odds from NASCAR.com, Harrison Burton’s No. 21 Ford Mustang Dark Horse is still the longest shot in the field at 1,500-1. Justin Haley’s No. 51 Mustang is also a longshot at 1,500-1 odds, and Noah Gragson’s odds are 1,000-1 of bringing the No. 10 Mustang to the title. Ryan Preece has slightly better odds of 800-1, along with Todd Gilliland, driver of the No. 38 Mustang.
Josh Berry is a bit of a safer bet, with 700-1 odds of winning the 2024 championship in the No. 4 NASCAR Ford. Michael McDowell holds odds of 500-1 to win the championship in the No. 34 Mustang, while Chase Briscoe’s No. 14 Mustang has 300-1 odds of getting it done. It’s quite a jump to Austin Cindric’s No. 2 Mustang, who has a 120-1 shot of taking the title, and Chris Buescher, who’s been quietly consistent all year in the No. 17 Mustang, is favored at 120-1 to win.
The safest NASCAR Ford drivers in the field are Brad Keselowski, driver of the No. 6 Mustang, with 22-1 odds, followed by Joey Logano’s No. 22 Mustang at 16-1. Ryan Blaney, meanwhile, retains his position as the safest bet in The Blue Oval’s stable. His No. 12 Mustang is favored at 8-1 odds to go back-to-back in 2024.
Looking beyond the NASCAR Ford drivers, Tyler Reddick’s No. 45 Toyota TRD Camry, Christopher Bell’s No. 20 Camry, Denny Hamlin’s No. 11 Camry, and Kyle Larson’s No. 5 Chevy Camaro ZL1 are the safest bets in the field, but don’t sleep on William Byron or Martin Truex Jr., either.
