Steeda has a long, rich history of producing and selling performance parts for a variety of Blue Oval models, including the Ford Mustang and the Ford Explorer ST (as well as the law enforcement version of the latter). Now that the refreshed Explorer and Lincoln Aviator are landing on dealer lots, Steeda just announced that it has added a 2025 Ford Explorer ST to its stable for research purposes as well, which figures to lead to the creation of more upgrades for that particular model.
The 2025 Ford Explorer ST has received the same updates as the rest of the lineup, but carries over with the same powertrain, regardless. That powertrain isn’t exactly a slouch, however, as it consists of the twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 EcoBoost engine that sends 400 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels via the 10-speed automatic transmission for what figures to be brisk performance.
“We are excited to announce that we are adding the 2025 Ford Explorer ST to our stable for R&D!” Steeda said of its latest purchase. “We are happy to continue to support the Explorer platform and bring you test-proven high-quality products for your Explorer! Stay tuned for new products, content, and more from our team!”
When the S650 generation Ford Mustang debuted for the 2024 model year, Steeda continued its tradition of modifying the latest pony car and testing its new products out on the track, and also purchased a new Dark Horse recently – the latter of which was taken to Sebring International Raceway in Florida for some benchmark laps back in June.
We’ll have more on the 2025 Ford Explorer ST soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for the latest Ford Explorer news and comprehensive Ford news updates.
