With Darlington on the horizon, which is the last regular-season race before the 2024 Playoffs begin, the NASCAR Ford drivers look like they’re a good bet to win on Sunday, September 1st, 2024. Let’s take a look at where each driver in The Blue Oval’s stable stacks up in terms of betting odds to win this weekend.
According to the odds on NASCAR.com, the worst odds in the field go to Kaz Grala, who’s going to attempt the race in the No. 15 NASCAR Ford Mustang Dark Horse as a wildcard entry. His odds are 1,000-1 to win. It’s quite a jump to the next-best Mustang racer, Ryan Preece, who has 400-1 odds of taking the win in the No. 41 Mustang. Harrison Burton, fresh off his Daytona win, is favored at 300-1 odds to win this weekend in the No. 21 Mustang.
Justin Haley’s No. 41 Mustang has slightly better odds of winning at 200-1, followed by Austin Cindric’s No. 2 Mustang at 110-1, right on par with Todd Gilliland’s No. 38 Mustang. Michael McDowell in the No. 34 NASCAR Ford has 100-1 odds of winning. Noah Gragson’s No. 10 Mustang has odds of 80-1, and things look slightly better for Chase Briscoe, driver of the No. 14 Mustang, with 65-1 odds, and Josh Berry’s No. 4 Mustang at 55-1.
The safest bets in The Blue Oval’s stable start with Chris Buescher, driver of the No. 17 Mustang, who has 16-1 odds of taking the win, along with Joey Logano, drover of the No. 22 Mustang and Ryan Blaney’s No. 12 Mustang. Finally, and unsurprisingly, the best Mustang racer to put money on is Brad Keselowski, defending Darlington winner, who has a 9-1 shot at winning on Sunday.
Beyond the Ford drivers, Tyler Reddick’s No. 45 Toyota TRD Camry has the best odds in the field at 11-2, matching Kyle Larson, driver of the No. 5 Chevy Camaro ZL1, with the same odds.
