2004 Ford Mustang GT With 4K Miles Up For Auction

In the hierarchy of pony cars, the SN95 generation Ford Mustang isn’t exactly the most valuable or collectible of the bunch, though it is a great looking car with plenty of appeal, regardless. However, we are starting to see more and more Mustangs from this era pop up for sale at auction, even one that starred in the movie 2 Fast 2 Furious some years ago. Now, this incredibly low-mile 2004 Ford Mustang GT joins that list as a truly stellar example of the SN95 generation that should conjure up its fair share of interest at auction over the coming days.

This 2004 Ford Mustang GT is up for grabs at Cars & Bids, and it has a mere 3,900 miles showing on the odometer. It isn’t entirely clear why the previous owner(s) failed to drive it much over the past 20 years, but this pony car remains in great condition as a result. In fact, its only noted flaws include some scratches on the driver-side wheels, corrosion on underbody components, and typical wear on the driver’s seat inside the cabin. The previous owner has also added a few minor modifications including a front lip spoiler, side stripes, and tinted widows, but nothing too major.

Finished in Screaming Yellow, this Ford Mustang GT is equipped with factory fog lights, a rear spoiler, 40th anniversary badging, and 17-inch alloy wheels on the outside. Inside the cabin, one will find a Dark Charcoal interior with leather upholstery, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, the Mach audio system with a six-disc CD changer, and cruise control among its various amenities.

Mechanically speaking, this SN95 is powered by the naturally-aspirated Ford 4.6L V8, which in this guise was factory-rated to produce 260 horsepower and 302 pound-feet of torque, which flows to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and the Traction-Lok rear differential. It’s a nice combination in a super low-mile car, which should make this Ford Mustang rather appealing to fans of the SN95 generation.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
