Long a symbol of luxury that offered one of the cushiest driving experiences in the business, the Lincoln Town Car sadly is no more. However, there are plenty of nice examples still up for grabs on the used vehicle market, and we’ve seen quite a few of them pop up at collector car auctions recently, too. Now that list has expanded yet again, this time, to include a very clean 2006 Lincoln Town Car with lower miles on the clock.
This 2006 Lincoln Town Car has traveled a total of 53k miles so far, and is currently up for auction at Bring a Trailer. It was a one-owner car prior to the seller’s purchase last month as well, and has thus far lived its life in Texas and California. Now, the Pueblo Gold Metallic beauty is looking for a new home, with just one tiny flaw present on the exterior – a scratch on the rear-right corner – and nothing else of note.
The interior of this Town Car is in stellar condition as well, with clean Light Camel heated and power-adjustable front seats, loads of woodgrain trim, and amenities such as dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, an in-dash CD changer, and power windows and locks. It’s powered by the Ford 4.6L V8, which in this guise was originally rated to produce 239 horsepower and 287 pound-feet of torque, flowing to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission.
Interestingly, we’ve seen plenty of other nice, low-mile Lincoln Town Car models pop up at various collector car auctions in recent months, too. That includes a 2006 model that surfaced for sale this past May, though that one featured a handful of modifications including a supercharger underhood. For those looking for something a bit more original, we also stumbled across a 2008 Town Car with just 2k original miles last November, too.

From the times Lincoln still produced real luxury cars and was still a luxury car brand. Nowadays Lincoln is nothing but a vulgar joke.
Yes, but 53K miles is ridiculous for an auction. I’m waiting to see something with 300K miles go to auction. It’s out of control. Like many other vehicle-related things these days, like new prices.
Looks like an amazing example. I’m sure this will get a ton of bids. Bring a trailer is a top notch site.
My Dad had one just like this! I’ve bought cars from Bring a Trailer before it’s the way to go. What a great looking ride. Very rare to see somthing like this. Best of luck to the seller I’m sure it will do well.
Americas land yacht…….I’ve had 5 or 6 both Continental’s and town cars. Enjoyed all of them.
