2011 Lincoln MKS EcoBoost With 49K Miles Up For Auction

Though we frequently come across all sorts of interesting modern vehicles with oftentimes surprisingly low mileage totals at collector car auctions around the web, that list has rarely included examples of the defunct Lincoln MKS sedan. It’s a rather odd exclusion given how popular many other types of discontinued sedans have proven to be as of late, with many of them quickly becoming sought after collectibles. However, that’s slowly starting to change, and now, this very nice 2011 Lincoln MKS EcoBoost has surfaced for sale as well.

This 2011 Lincoln MKS is up for auction at Bring a Trailer and has a reasonable 49k miles on the clock, along with the desirable Rapid Spec 200A package. That option gives the luxurious sedan a number of interesting upgrades, including all-wheel drive, 19-inch alloy wheels, and the twin-turbocharged 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine, which in this guise was factory-rated to generate a stout 355 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. That power flows to all four wheels via the six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission.

Otherwise, this Lincoln MKS is in stellar condition with just a couple of minor blemishes marring its White Platinum Metallic Tricoat paint. Inside, one will find a bevy of Olive Ash wood trim, Camel Premium leather, and amenities including power-adjustable, heated, and cooled front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, driver-seat position memory, power windows and locks, cruise control, a powered rear sunshade, and SYNC infotainment with an in-dash CD changer and satellite radio.

This is the second Lincoln MKS EcoBoost we’ve seen surface for sale in recent months, as a 2010 model with just 16k miles popped up for auction roughly one month ago. That gem wound up selling for $20,900, which seems like a very reasonable price for such a nice luxury sedan with few miles that also has ample performance to offer – especially compared to its original sticker price of $52,980.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
