The Ford Fiesta ST was a universally loved hot hatch that unfortunately no longer exists, along with the model that it was based on. However, we still see some nice examples of the Fiesta ST pop up at collector car auctions on a regular basis, giving fans of that particular model the next best thing to buying a new one at a dealer, anyway. The latest is this – a 2017 Ford Fiesta ST that has less than 3,000 miles showing on the odometer.
This super low-mile Ford Fiesta ST is up for auction at Cars & Bids, and it’s in great shape save for a chip on one wheel, a single scratch on the exterior, and some corrosion underneath. Otherwise, the Magnetic Metallic beauty looks great and has traveled just 2,600 miles during its years on this earth, and it’s also completely unmodified, save for tinted windows. As part of the first and only generation of the Ford Fiesta ST that was ever offered in North America, it’s also quite desirable.
There are several features that make the Ford Fiesta ST different from a regular example, including its unique 17-inch wheels, fog lights, and a rear spoiler. Inside the cabin, one will find cloth seats with aluminum sport pedals, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Sony sound system, which offers up Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. The main attraction here, however, is the car’s powertrain – the turbocharged 1.6L I-4 EcoBoost engine producing 197 horsepower and 202 pound-feet of torque, paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
This 2017 Ford Fiesta ST is easily one of the lowest-mile examples we’ve seen in a while, though it isn’t alone in that regard. Rather, we recently spotted a 2014 model with 34k miles as well, though it had aftermarket wheels and an exhaust system installed. A 30k-mile 2016 Fiesta ST also surfaced for sale this past February, and it was bone stock, too.
