The Ford GT Carbon Series debuted back in late 2018 as a special variant of a very special car, one equipped with a bevy of unique features including gloss carbon-fiber 20-inch wheels, carbon-fiber exterior trim, an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, a polycarbonate engine cover, and titanium lug nuts, all of which helped shave 40 pounds of weight off the already-svelte supercar. When Ford GT Carbon Series models pop up for auction, they always command a premium, and that’s likely to be the case with this stellar example.
This 2022 Ford GT Carbon Series is up for auction at Bring a Trailer with just 744 miles on the clock, and as one might expect given that information, it remains in basically brand new condition as a result. This example is finished in Liquid Grey and fitted with both the Exterior Carbon Fiber and Carbon Graphics packages, along with rock screen guards, Dynoflex film for the windshield, and XPEL paint protection film.
Inside the cabin, one will find Carbon Alcantara-covered Sparco seats with manually reclining carbon-fiber shells, plus exposed carbon fiber door panels, an adjustable pedal box and steering column, six-point harness anchors, a touchscreen infotainment system, and automatic climate control. As is the case with all Ford GT models from this generation, this one is powered by a high-output version of the twin-turbocharged Ford 3.5L V6 EcoBoost, which in this guise was factory-rated to send 660 horsepower and 550 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels via a Getrag seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle.
As is typically the case with even regular variants, the Ford GT Carbon Series is still readily available with scant few miles on the clock, as most people that bought these cars were keen to stash them away and never drive them. Most recently, that list includes a 2021 model that only had 15 miles when it popped up for sale a while ago, as well as a 2020 with a mere 800 miles on the odometer.

Immaculate and a beauty.
Never get the Alcantara it shifts and shines real bad under use.
