2024 Ford Mustang Front Bumper Beam And Tow Hook Kit Debuts

Since its debut, the all-new S650 generation 2024 Ford Mustang has gained a plethora of aftermarket parts and accessories for owners to choose from, coupled with an array of goods from The Blue Oval itself. This has long been the case with the legendary pony car, and in many cases, both third-party companies and The Blue Oval itself offer track-focused upgrades for weekend warriors as well. That’s once again the case with this new 2024 Ford Mustang front bumper beam and tow hook, both of which were just added to the official Ford Performance catalog.

Customers have a couple of choices in this regard, as the front bumper beam and tow hook can be purchased together under part number M-17750-A for a retail price of $250, while the tow hook is also sold separately under part number M-17954-M for $50. The kit fits all 2024 Ford Mustang models and includes the same front bumper beam with a threaded insert fitted to the GT Performance Pack and Dark Horse from the factory. This threaded piece allows for the use of a tow hook in EcoBoost and GT models that aren’t equipped with the Performance Pack.

Along with the front bumper beam with that threaded insert, this kit also comes with a bright red powder-coated tow hook, as well as the mounting hardware one needs for installation. Or, customers that already have a 2024 Ford Mustang GT Performance Pack or Dark Horse can simply opt to purchase the tow hook separately, which threads into the bumper beam threaded insert behind the bumper cover access door.

While many like to install tow hooks as a way to make their vehicles look sportier, these parts also serve an important purpose – if something goes wrong on the track, it makes them easier to tow away or load on a trailer. However, we imagine that most who purchase one won’t be using them for that particular reason, and instead, it’ll serve as more of an appearance upgrade than anything else.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
