The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E lineup was treated to a host of notable changes, even if none of them added up to what one might call a mid-cycle refresh. Ford added some new packages and deleted others, swapped over to its own in-house e-motors, and changed around certain other offerings while making the Performance Upgrade an option that effectively replaced the Performance Edition package. Now, however, certain 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E paint colors and other options have received a price increase.
According to a dealer bulletin recently seen by CarsDirect, the prices of two exterior paint colors – Grabber Blue and Eruption Green – have increased by $200, to $495 each. Additionally, the Interior Protection Package has been treated to a price increase of $100, meaning that it now costs $495 as well. That optional package includes front and rear floor mats, a cargo floor liner, and a cargo area cover. Finally, the optional panoramic roof now costs $1,600, which is $100 pricer than it was previously.
Though customers who ordered a 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E prior to September 4th are price protected against these increases, the automaker didn’t provide a reason for the changes. However, it has executed similar moves to other models in recent months, making certain paint colors and/or options packages pricier. Regardless, the good news for qualified 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E customers is that they can at least take advantage of a zero percent financing deal at the moment, along with various other incentives to reduce those costs.
As Ford Authority previously reported, the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E gets between 10-20 more miles of range thanks to its new e-motors, and DC fast charging times have improved by around 20 percent as well. The GT Performance Edition has also been replaced by the new, optional Performance Upgrade – included as standard equipment in the Rally – which adds a whopping 100 pound-feet of torque, taking that figure up to 700 and enabling the Mach-E GT to rocket from 0-60 in 3.3 seconds, as well as complete the quarter-mile in 11.8 seconds at 114 mph.
