2025 Ford Bronco Sport Brings Back Velocity Blue: First Look

The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport gains two new exterior colors, including Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat and Velocity Blue Metallic. Here’s a first look at the latter, Velocity Blue Metallic.

Assigned paint code E7, Velocity Blue Metallic is actually a returning color that was first introduced for the 2022 model year, but was subsequently discontinued for the 2023 model. It is offered on all 2025 Ford Bronco Sport trims for $295. It’s available in conjunction with all interior colorways and optional packages and is one of eight exterior color offerings for the rugged off-road crossover. All eight colors are as follows (relevant paint codes in parentheses):

  • Eruption Green Metallic (FA)
  • Shadow Black (G1)
  • Azure Gray Metallic Tri-Coat (G4)
  • Carbonized Gray Metallic (M7)
  • Desert Sand (VA)
  • Oxford White (YZ)
  • Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat (RR) (new for 2025)
  • Velocity Blue Metallic (E7) (new for 2025)

The following represents all available interior colorways:

  • Medium Light Smoked Truffle
  • Ebony
  • Platinum Blue
  • Ebony / Roast
  • Dark Space Gray
  • Navy Pier / Plaid
  • Ebony / Ombre Stitching with Sunset Weave

Finally, the following list comprises all 2025 Ford Bronco Sport trim levels:

  • Big Bend
  • Outer Banks
  • Badlands
  • Heritage
  • Free Wheeling

There are a few modest changes and updates on their way to the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport. This includes the optional Sasquatch Package, available on Outer Banks and Badlands models. The Sasquatch Package outfits the off-road crossover with features such as a twin-clutch rear-drive unit and locking rear differential, along with meaty 29-inch 235/65R-17 Goodyear Territory All-Terrain tires. It also includes the new Rally GOAT mode, which helps the crossover hold gears for a longer period of time for increased power and a sharper throttle response.

Inside, the 2025 Bronco Sport gets a 13.2-inch Sync 4 center infotainment touchscreen, as first reported by Ford Authority. That screen is paired with a 12.3-inch digital instrument display. It’s important to note, however, that the incoming model is a bit more expensive than its 2024 counterpart. The base Bronco Sport Big Bend starts at $29,995, not including destination and freight charges.

Why is Ford uncharging for velocity blue?
    Besides screwing the customer.
