2025 Ford F-250 Super Duty Pricing Revealed

Just yesterday, The Blue Oval revealed a host of updates in store for the 2025 Ford Super Duty, many of which are rather notable given the fact that the heavy-duty hauler is just coming off a redesign that debuted in the 2023 model year. These updates involve not only some changes to the trim level lineup, but also, some shuffling around in terms of standard powertrains, to boot. Now, pricing for the 2025 Ford F-250 Super Duty, specifically, has been revealed.

2025 Ford F-250 Super Duty Pricing
2025 Ford F-250 Prices – May 9th 2024 Ford F-250 Prices – May 8th + / – September 25th Price
XL Regular Cab $45,300 $44,790 +$510
XLT Regular Cab $51,295 $51,105 +$190
Lariat $64,740 $62,410 +$2330
King Ranch $76,975 $76,945 +$30
Platinum $77,865 $77,865 $0

For the most part, 2025 Ford F-250 Super Duty pricing hasn’t changed a lot, with the XL and XLT regular cab models now starting out $510 and $190 more than the 2024 model year, while the King Ranch is $30 pricier and the Platinum is standing put. However, the Lariat is an exception to that rule, as it has received a $2,330 price increase year-over-year. These prices exclude mandatory destination and delivery fees as well, since those figures haven’t yet been announced, so it’s unclear if they’ll change, or simply remain the same. It’s also worth noting that the top-tier Limited trim has been discontinued, effectively replaced by the new Platinum Plus, which was also the case with the refreshed 2024 Ford F-150 lineup.

As Ford Authority previously reported, the 2025 Ford Super Duty Platinum trim is getting a bit of its own refresh that includes the addition of the Platinum Plus, along with some other tweaks. Those updates consist of a painted black grille and tailgate appliqué, along with body-color door handles, while inside the cabin, the luxurious hauler has been treated to a new Black Onyx theme with Platinum Blue accents. The Platinum Plus gets a unique satin finish grille up front with bright chrome inserts, plus a Smoked Truffle theme that’s unique to this package, along with perforated Venetian Leather seating surfaces with French stitching, and Max Recline seats, plus 2kW of Pro Power Onboard as standard and a unique ownership experience full of special perks.

Ford is also changing up 2025 Ford Super Duty engine availability, the gas 6.8L V8 is now standard equipment on the XL, XLT, and Lariat trims, while the gas 7.3L V8 is standard on the King Ranch and Platinum. In the 2024 model year, the 6.8L V8 was standard on the F-250 and F-350 XL – while the F-450 got the regular output 6.7L V8 Power Strokediesel as standard. The XLT and Lariat were previously equipped with the 7.3L V8 as standard in all configurations save for the F-450, which also got the diesel.

As for the more luxurious trims, the King Ranch and Platinum were both equipped with the gas 7.3L V8 as standard for the 2024 model year – again, save for the F-450, which came with the 6.7L Power Stroke. Regardless, the diesel remains an option across all trims, which is also the case with the high-output version of that same powerplant. Regardless of powertrain, all 2025 Ford Super Duty models still come standard with the 10-speed automatic transmission, too.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

Wow. Ate you in ford’s pocket? Biggest news u have is a new paint color, how prices went up, or some b.s. that sales ate up 25% in some stupid country from 3 to 4 units. Get reak and focus, this has become a ra ra marketing site and NOT teal news that affects FMC.

Ford is slow on news about changes on upcoming models and reviews, so they have to fill with nonsense like sales are up 25% from last month on a particular model (I don’t care).

Why not report on why is Ford increasing the Lariat trim only? If the higher end models did not go up that means the price of the options shared haven’t changed much. Sounds like the Lariat might be the higher volume seller for consumers, so Ford is like let’s screw them with higher costs.

So the Lariat loses a ton of standard content (power sliding window, leather seats, 7.3L gas, ambiant lighting, power steering wheel, etc) but the price goes up over $2,000? Make it make sense.

Ford has lost it ! No reason for the increases ! The demand for the trucks are driving the prices up !
