2025 Ford Ranger Raptor Also Adds Marsh Gray And Desert Sand

The Ford Ranger Raptor just debuted in the U.S. as part of the pickup’s 2024 model year refresh, though it’s been on sale in various other global markets for years now. The hardcore, high-performance, off-road-focused, mid-size pickup has plenty to offer those that like to frequently travel off the beaten path, but as is usually the case in the automotive world, it’s also receiving at least a couple of minor updates for the new model year. For now at least, that means a pair of new exterior color options for the 2025 Ford Ranger Raptor, specifically.

During this past weekend’s inaugural Raptor Rally, the automaker announced that both Marsh Gray and Desert Sand will be joining the 2025 Ford Ranger Raptor exterior color lineup, new hues that Blue Oval customers have reportedly been asking for. For the 2024 model year, the Ranger Raptor could be had in Azure Gray Metallic Tri-Coat, Hot Pepper Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Shadow Black, Oxford White, Iconic Silver Metallic, Shelter Green Metallic, Carbonized Gray Metallic, Velocity Blue Metallic, and Cactus Gray. It’s unclear if any of these colors will be going away to make room for the two new ones, however.

These changes are accompanied by a trio of new color options for the 2025 Ford Bronco Raptor as well – which will now be available in Marsh Gray, Desert Sand, and Ruby Red for the upcoming model year, changes that were reportedly also made based on customer feedback. For the 2024 model year, the Bronco Raptor was available in Azure Gray Metallic Tri-Coat, Hot Pepper Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Cactus Gray, Velocity Blue Metallic, Shelter Green, Shadow Black, Oxford White, and Iconic Silver Metallic, though it’s also currently unclear if any of those hues will be deleted for 2025.

Desert Sand was introduced back in 2022 on the Ford Bronco Everglades, though it isn’t currently available, and it was also added as an option for the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport lineup as well. Marsh Gray was just added to the 2025 Ford F-150 and its list of available exterior colors, while Ruby Red just joined the 2025 Bronco Sport lineup, too.
