The Ford Territory launched in Brazil back in August 2023 as the latest market where the rebadged Chinese Equator Sport is sold. Now, the 2025 Ford Territory is on sale in that same South American country, but it has added a few new features for the new model year, albeit nothing that would constitute any sort of mid-cycle refresh, though we’re certain that at least a few customers will find them to make the stylish crossover more appealing.
The most notable addition to the 2025 Ford Territory in Brazil is remote start functionality, which also enables owners to turn on the HVAC system or heated/ventilated seats remotely as well. Otherwise, the crossover is essentially otherwise unchanged for the new model year, which means that it’s offered in one trim level in Brazil – Titanium – with a price tag of R$212,000 ($37,978 USD). Power comes from the turbocharged 1.5L EcoBoost engine, which in this guise produces 169 horsepower and is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
In Brazil, the 2025 Ford Territory is offered in five exterior color options – Metallic Blue, Vermont Red, Toronto Black, Qatar Gray, and Bariloche White – with 19-inch painted aluminum wheels, LED lighting, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionality, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, two-tone ventilated leather seats with four- or 10-way power adjustability, wood and brushed steel trim for the dash and doors, an optional panoramic roof, an available hands-free tailgate, a wireless phone charger, and a bevy of driver-assist features.
In addition to Brazil, the Ford Territory is sold in a host of other global markets, and has been for a few years now, following the new Equator Sport’s launch in China back in November 2021, where it’s built by JMC Ford – a joint venture between FoMoCo and Jiangling Motors Corporation Limited. That list includes Mexico, Peru, and most recently, South Africa.

This is a nice vehicle, so much nicer than the ugly crap sold in the USA, especially styling and interior.
If your Ford does not have a remote start, you can buy one at eBay and install it in less than one hour. The device is installed in the dash under the steering wheel with one special jumper cable. And it uses the same factory fob. Just press lock, unlock, and lock. The signal lights flash twice and the engine starts. My device was a special version for the Fusion Hybrid which only powers up the A/C compressor (it is electric), and does not start the engine unless the HV battery is discharged. It cost less than $120.
