Chevy Truck Guy Steals Ford Tow Truck, Causes Mayhem In Brooklyn: Video

These days, road rage is a common occurrence on our roadways as tensions boil over with people living stressed out lives and driving around with short fuses. Oftentimes, this results in accidents and even fights – sometimes, in the middle of the highway – but as one might imagine, they’re also typically completely unnecessary and pointless. The latest example of this comes to us in the form of a rather extreme road rage incident that took place in Brooklyn, New York recently, and the driver of a Ford tow truck was the victim.

A man steals a Ford tow truck in Brooklyn and goes on a rampage.

According to News 12 New York, the driver of that Ford tow truck was attempting to remove a Chevy Silverado that had blocked an industrial loading zone in Sunset Park when things went, well, quite wrong. While he was in the process of doing his job, the owner of that Chevy truck appeared and began yelling profanities at the driver, informing him in a not-nice manner that he wasn’t going to be towing his pickup that day.

From there, things escalated further as the Chevy driver hopped in the Ford tow truck and took off, hitting multiple vehicles that were parked legally alongside the road on his way. Eventually, the Silverado rolled off and landed on its roof, which is rather ironic given the fact that the owner could have prevented all of this by simply letting his vehicle get towed and paying for his transgressions. The incident ended with the Ford tow truck hitting a city bus head on, though thankfully, it doesn’t appear as if anyone was injured.

Regardless, that man is apparently still on the run, but we imagine that police will catch him eventually and he’ll have a rather unpleasant day in court. Ultimately, this is just one of the more extreme road rage-type incidents we’ve seen as of late, a list that also recently included a Ford Taurus driver trying to hit a pedestrian on a New York City sidewalk, as well as a Ford Focus and Super Duty duking it out on the highway.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

Typical of the miniscule brains that inhabit the NYC Metro area. I live among many such retiree relocations to my sunny southern clime and I KNOW. It’s disgusting.
