Ford Brazil sales increased 83 percent to 4,575 units in August 2024.
Individual model sales performance was as follows:
- Ford Bronco Sport sales totaled 223 units
- Ford F-Series sales decreased 84.09 percent to 14 units
- Ford Maverick sales increased 227.45 percent to 501 units
- Ford Mustang sales increased 644.44 percent to 201 units
- Ford Ranger sales increased 52.44 percent to 2,782 units
- Ford Territory sales increased 272.22 percent to 469 units
- Ford Transit sales increased 59.72 percent to 337 units
During the first eight months of the 2024 calendar year, Ford Brazil sales increased 71 percent to 28,434 units.

The Ford Authority Take
Ford Brazil sales rose dramatically in August, setting a new monthly record for the brand’s current phase in the country. Representing the fifth consecutive monthly increase, the 4,575 units sold last month represent the highest volume Ford has sold in the Brazilian market since taking over as importer in early 2021.
In August, nearly all Ford Brazil models experienced significant double- and triple-digit increases that contributed to the huge increase in sales. The Ford Ranger strengthened its position as the brand’s best-selling model in the country, adding nearly 1,000 units year-over-year and consolidating its position as the second most popular midsize pickup in the market – stealing the position from the Brazilian-made Chevy S10.
In addition to the high triple-digit increases of the Ford Maverick and Ford Territory, which established them in second and third place on the podium in August – respectively, the exceptionally high volume of the Ford Mustang stands out, achieving the highest growth rate. The Ford F-Series was the only model of the brand that decreased its sales during the month in Brazil.
