Ford Bronco Driver Attempts To Drive Over Cop Cars: Video

The sixth-generation Ford Bronco is well-known for being highly capable off-road, which is one of its finest qualities. We’ve seen the newest Bronco tackle all sorts of impressive obstacles off the beaten path as a result, but as it turns out, some folks are using those same capabilities for more nefarious reasons – such as, in the case of this Ford Bronco, attempting to run over a pair of police cars.

This particular incident took place in Westwood Square in Toronto, Canada, where police were called and informed that the Ford Bronco driver – who had stolen some items from a store there previously – returned to the scene of the crime and was reportedly armed, according to CBC news. The Ford Bronco itself was also apparently stolen, and when police arrived on the scene, the driver was in the Tim Horton’s drive-thru, perhaps snagging some coffee or a donut.

Officers managed to pin the SUV in – or so they thought – but it seems as if the Ford Bronco driver wasn’t ready to give up that easily, Instead, they proceeded to drive up onto the hood of one police cruiser and on top of another, though they weren’t quite able to escape in that manner. Instead, the SUV got hung up and the driver reversed before trying to escape through the passenger window – where a police officer was waiting with a taser.

Now, the thief has only added to his wrap sheet and is being charged with three counts of possessing property obtained by crime, flight from and obstruction of a peace officer, and dangerous operation of a vehicle. Interestingly, they’re just the latest to use a newer Ford Bronco to commit crimes, as another one recently ripped off some donuts at Petco Park – home of the San Diego Padres – some time ago, and just a couple of weeks ago, a Bronco rammed multiple cars while trying to escape the long arm of the law, too.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

Seems that the Ford Bronco is so tough that thieves steal them as getaway cars.

I call fake news.. no one is allowed to own guns in Canada ! And, are Canadian Police banned from shooting people? If you try that in the US, the cops shoot your ass!
