Back in the 1970s, the Ford Bronco was available with the Free Wheeling package (along with some other models), which was essentially an appearance upgrade that added bright stripes to the exterior of the big-bodied SUV. Free Wheeling Broncos have since become coveted collector’s items, and many have called for the return of that particular offering on the more modern, sixth-generation version as well. That hasn’t yet happened, but The Blue Oval did create a Ford Bronco Sport Free Wheeling for the 2024 model year, and now, it has released a special clothing collection based on that same look.
The all-new Ford Bronco Free Wheeling Collection is now available in the automaker’s official merchandise catalog, and it consists of 10 different retro-themed products. That list includes a pair of t-shirts, patches, an insulated vest, a bomber jacket, a knit hat, two regular hats, a keychain, and a water bottle, all of which are sporting the familiar bright stripes that The Blue Oval has applied to a variety of models – including the Ford Bronco – over the years.
This is just the latest of many new Ford themed clothing collections that have debuted in recent months, however, as the automaker continues to not only offer a variety of goods via its own catalog, but also, via several partnerships with other brands. FoMoCo created a special line of clothing in partnership with actress Sydney Sweeney and Dickies a while back that sold out in record time, for starters.
Aside from that effort, Ford teamed up with Forever 21 for a rather extensive collection that also leans heavily on car culture and retro style. Other notable pairings include a deal with Madewell for a new apparel collection inspired by the Ford Bronco and Baja California Bronco racers – as well as Wide Open Roads, plus European clothing company Cold Culture to create an 18-piece Ford clothing collection, too.
