Lincoln MKZ, Navigator Drivers Barely Avoid Colliding: Video

Down in Texas – around Houston, specifically – car culture is a bit, shall we say, different from other parts of the U.S. There, quite a few enthusiasts are fans of what folks like to call “slabs,” which are typically older American models that have been modified in a unique fashion. Along with riding low to the ground and sometimes sporting fancy paint jobs and powerful stereo systems, slabs are also often equipped with wire wheels that are sometimes called “swangas” due to the fact that those spokes stick out pretty far away from the car – oftentimes, as much as a couple of feet. Problem is, such a modification can make it hard to avoid hitting other things, as this Lincoln MKZ owner recently discovered.

In this reel recently posted to Facebook, we get a pretty good view of this particular incident, which begins after what appears to be some sort of road rage incident. We say that because the Lincoln MKZ driver comes around the corner pretty hot, and is swerving all over the road in front of a Navigator. The sedan pulls over toward the curb, letting the Navigator go by, but the SUV driver then apparently tries to box them in – further escalating this incident.

After a bit, the MKZ driver moves forward and almost hits the Navigator, then proceeds to accelerate rapidly and pass it on the left hand side across an intersection in a rather dangerous manner. The Navigator driver tries to move over and prevent this from happening, which causes the sedan to veer over nearly into oncoming traffic. It’s unclear if the two drivers were angry with each other or just playing some sort of stupid game, but both are lucky that no accident occurred as a result.

Unfortunately, this is just one of several similar incidents we’ve seen recently involving Ford and/or Lincoln models. That list also includes a Ford Taurus driver trying to hit a pedestrian on a sidewalk, a Chevy truck driver stealing a Ford tow truck, a Ford Escape wreck during another road rage incident, and a pair of Ford F-150 drivers duking it out in the middle of the highway.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

Yep they do it on purpose. “Swerving” back and forth, blocking the road and then getting angry when someone try’s to pass while they’re busy showing off.

Same with the inner city kids on the dirt bikes and ATV’s. If you try to go around or if you get too close for their liking they’ll attack you.
