With one Playoffs race in the books, some NASCAR Ford drivers are safe bets to take the title when the season wraps up in just a little over two months, but others are serious longshots. If you’re a sports betting fanatic, check out The Blue Oval’s stable when you’re putting money down on the Cup Series title.
The latest betting odds on NASCAR.com keep Ryan Blaney, driver of the No. 12 Ford Mustang Dark Horse, up top as the best bet in The Blue Oval’s fold. He’s got current odds of 13-2 to take his second title in a row. Joey Logano, last weekend’s race winner and driver of the No. 22 Mustang, is catching up. He’s currently favored at 12-1 odds to win his third championship in November.
Brad Keselowski, driver of the No. 6 Mustang, isn’t a bad bet either, with odds of 28-1 to take this year’s Cup Series title. It’s a bit of a jump to Austin Cindric, driver of the No. 2 Mustang, who has odds of 60-1 to win after experiencing a late summer slump. Chase Briscoe, who finished dead last at Atlanta do to a mid-race crash, is even more of a longshot at 150-1 odds, but he’s still got two races to make it to the next round and turn it around.
Finally, Harrison Burton, the sixth NASCAR Ford driver in the championship running, has the worst odds in the 16-driver Playoffs field at 1,000-1. His No. 21 Mustang team is currently outside the top 30 in the overall point standings, meaning he’s got some ground to cover if he wants to make it out of the Round of 16 and take a shot at the 2024 title.
There are currently nine races left in the 2024 Cup Series Playoffs. The Round of 16 continues this weekend at Watkins Glen on Sunday, September 15th, 2024. The green flag is scheduled to drop at 3 p.m. EST.
