1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 Diecast Gets Limited Rerelease

Hot Wheels has added a host of Blue Oval diecast models to its collection of Red Line Club exclusives in recent years, which are only available to RLC members and feature superior levels of detail compared to the average piece one can buy from the local big box stores. That list includes a Spectraflame Bright Yellow 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 that just launched as an RLC exclusive this past August, but now, Hot Wheels is bringing that same diecast back for a second time, albeit as a limited release.

This yellow 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 diecast is one of a few popular collectibles that Hot Wheels is re-releasing just in time for the holidays, giving those that may have missed out on it the first time another chance to add it to their collection. The company isn’t revealing just how many of these 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 diecasts it’s making available as part of this special promotion, but as was previously the case, one must be an RLC member to purchase it – though one-year memberships are available for $9.99.

Along with its bright paint job, this diecast features a ZAMAC body, a set of Real Riders five-spoke mag wheels, a metal chassis, light smoke-tinted windows, and a black interior. There are also set of black hockey stick stripes and a supercharged “engine” underhood, giving this Ford Mustang Boss 302 a truly custom look. Like all RLC offerings, the 1:64 scale diecast comes packaged in a Kar Keepers clamshell case with an illustrated blister card, making it perfect for displaying pretty much anywhere one might choose, all for a cost of $25.

This particular diecast isn’t the only 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 RLC exclusive we’ve seen up for sale as of late, as it was preceded by a very cool Mustang “Boss Hoss” recreation that debuted back in early 2022. Additionally. Hot Wheels released a Mustang SVT Cobra R RLC diecast back in February 2023, too.
