2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 With 11K Miles Up For Auction

Throughout the course of pony car history, the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 has typically always represented the proverbial top of the food chain, giving customers the most performance available. Pretty much every Shelby Mustang ever produced has also instantly become a collector’s item, and we routinely see older examples sell for big bucks at collector car auctions. Now, this 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is aiming to join that list after being listed for sale, too.

This S197 generation Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is currently up for auction at Bring a Trailer with just 11k miles on the odometer, which is quite low for any vehicle of this vintage – let alone a desirable one. It’s finished in Torch Red with white stripes and polished 18-inch forged alloy wheels, which are wrapped with Nitto NT555 G2 tires. There are zero flaws noted in the auction listing as it pertains to the exterior, and we certainly can’t see any in the provided photos, either.

The same goes for the interior, which sports a leather-wrapped steering wheel along with Dark Charcoal leather seats with embossed Shelby Cobra logos on the backrests, plus a list of amenities that includes the Shaker 500 sound system with an in-dash CD changer, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, and air conditioning. The super clean engine bay houses the supercharged 5.4L V8, which in this guise was originally rated to produce 500 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque, flowing to the rear wheels via a Tremec six-speed manual transmission.

Always a popular entity among Blue Oval fans and enthusiasts in general, the S197 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 has also quickly become a hot collector’s item as well. In fact, this is just the latest of many similar rides we’ve come across in recent months, including another 2007 GT500 with just 500 original miles, as well as a 2008 with 37k miles.
