There are many, many different kinds of custom Ford F-150 builds available from a variety of third party companies these days, whether they be the likes of Hennessey Performance, Steeda, Roush Performance, or Shelby American, each following largely the same formula – give the popular pickup a bunch of extra power, some unique styling, and a few other special touches. Those offerings have proven to be quite popular among enthusiasts, who can now bid on this very nice 2019 Ford F-150 Shelby Baja Raptor that just surfaced for sale.
This Agate Black 2019 Ford F-150 Shelby Baja Raptor is up for auction at Bring a Trailer with a reasonable 18k miles on the clock, sporting a laundry list of modifications as part of Shelby’s Baja Raptor package. On the outside, those include revised front and rear bumpers with tow hooks and integrated LED lights, a ram-air hood, rock sliders, power-deployable side steps, a bed-mounted chase rack with two full-size spare tires, a 50-inch light bar, and 18-inch Shelby Raptor wheels wrapped with 35×12.50-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires. Underneath, the truck features a custom Shelby suspension system developed in partnership with Fox Racing that features remote-reservoir shocks, too.
Inside the cabin, this Shelby Baja Raptor features embroidered headrests and red accents for the bucket front seats, along with carbon-fiber trim and a Shelby center console badge. Power comes from the twin-turbocharged 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine, which has been modified with Shelby’s ECU tuning software, a Whipple intake, and an upgraded aluminum intercooler, which results in an output of 525 horsepower and 610 pound-feet of torque.
While not a terribly common sight on the second-hand market, we have seen a couple of Ford F-150 Shelby Baja Raptor models surface for sale in recent years – not terribly surprising given their lofty price tag when new, which can easily exceed $100k. Regardless, this one may hammer for a more reasonable price, which could make it a solid target for someone that’s been eyeing a custom turnkey F-150 of their own.
