2025 Ford Bronco Adds Black Diamond Package For Big Bend

As Ford Authority recently reported, the 2025 Ford Bronco trim level lineup is getting a bit of a revamp, as the Black Diamond, Wildtrak, Everglades, and Heritage Limited Edition have all been discontinued, while the Base is making a comeback and the new Stroppe Edition is effectively taking the place of the Wildtrak. However, while the Black Diamond will no longer be offered as a trim level in the 2025 Ford Bronco lineup, that same name has now been applied to a brand new, optional package for the Big Bend trim.

According to Bronco Nation, the 2025 Ford Bronco Big Bend has gained the new Black Diamond package (51D), just like its little brother, the Ford Bronco Sport. This new offering adds a host of equipment to the Big Bend trim, exclusively, including powder-coated steel bumpers, steel bash plates, LED fog lamps, rock rails, and 17-inch black high-gloss painted aluminum wheels on the outside. Inside the cabin, one will find auxiliary switches in the overhead console, grab handles up front, and rubberized flooring. Unfortunately, there are no photos of this package available just yet, nor any sort of pricing info.

Regardless, the 2025 Ford Bronco Big Bend Black Diamond package is quite similar to the one already offered on the Bronco Sport, though on the crossover, it was never used as a name for a trim level – only a package. In that guise, the Black Diamond package adds powder-coated steel bumpers, steel bash plates, a black molded-in color grille with white “Bronco” lettering, rock rails, and 17-inch black high-gloss painted aluminum wheels wrapped with LT265/70R17 tires. Inside, the Bronco Sport Black Diamond package gets auxiliary switches in the overhead console, plus the Terrain Management system with seven GOAT modes.

In addition to these updates, there are a few more changes in store for the 2025 Ford Bronco lineup. Those include the addition of the retro-themed Free Wheeling Package, as well as the 12-inch digital gauge cluster as standard equipment. In four-door models equipped with the 10-speed automatic transmission, the rear HVAC vents have moved from the floor to the rear portion of the center console, though much of the lineup has lost its grab handles. The 2025 Ford Bronco Raptor is adding a trio of new exterior color options as well – Marsh Gray, Desert Sand, and Ruby Red – though a total of six have been deleted, a list that consists of Cactus Gray, Iconic Silver, Hot Pepper Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Peak Blue, Race Red, and Yellowstone.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
