2025 Ford Bronco Badlands Gets Wildtrak’s HOSS 3.0 System

As Ford Authority previously reported, the 2022 Ford Bronco Wildtrak gained the HOSS (High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension) 3.0 system as a $2,515 option, which includes Fox 2.5-inch internal bypass dampers, the Ford Performance Severe-Duty upgraded steering rack from the Bronco Raptor, upgraded inner and outer tie rods, a rear stabilizer bar, and off-road competition-inspired spring rates. One model year later, the Wildtrak added the same suspension setup as standard equipment, and now, the 2025 Ford Bronco Badlands is available with the HOSS 3.0 system as an option.

Just last year, the Bronco Badlands got the HOSS 3.0 system’s beefier steering gear, but for the 2025 model year, it’s gaining the entire suspension upgrade as an option – just as the Wildtrak trim has been deleted from the 2025 Ford Bronco lineup. This update also helps better position the Badlands just a notch below the Bronco Raptor, which is equipped with the even more capable HOSS 4.0 system.

Along with the deletion of the Wildtrak, the 2025 Ford Bronco trim level lineup is also ditching the Everglades, Heritage Limited, and Black Diamond trim levels, though the latter moniker is now being used as the name for a newly optional package. The Bronco Base is making a comeback after being absent for one model year, and the new Stroppe Edition is effectively taking the place of the Wildtrak, too.

In addition to those updates, there are a few more changes in store for the 2025 Ford Bronco lineup. Those include the addition of the retro-themed Free Wheeling Package, as well as the 12-inch digital gauge cluster as standard equipment. In four-door models equipped with the 10-speed automatic transmission, the rear HVAC vents have moved from the floor to the rear portion of the center console, though much of the lineup has lost its grab handles. The 2025 Ford Bronco Raptor is adding three new exterior color options – Marsh Gray, Desert Sand, and Ruby Red – though six others have been deleted – Cactus Gray, Iconic Silver, Hot Pepper Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Peak Blue, Race Red, and Yellowstone.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
