Shortly after the Ford Maverick launched for the 2022 model year, The Blue Oval released the blueprints for its Ford Integrated Tether System (FITS), which are essentially slots or receivers designed for matching mounts to slide into and hold accessories. Many of these accessories are sold via Ford’s catalog, but a QR code sticker located in the bed of the compact pickup also gives owners access to the slot geometry used by FITS, which allows them to 3D print any kind of accessory they can dream of. Now, 2025 Ford Bronco owners will be able to take advantage of FITS, too.
According to Bronco Nation, the FITS package is now available as an option across all trims in the 2025 Ford Bronco lineup. The package (66B) includes a base plate, along with a Bronco-branded console cupholder and both small and large bins with the same branding. If nothing else, this newly optional package should prove popular with DIYers, particularly those that already have a 3D printer or may be interested in getting into that hobby.
Other than this new package, the 2025 Ford Bronco lineup has been treated to a host of other updates for the new model year, too. Those changes include a trim level lineup reshuffling that includes the deletion of the Wildtrak, Everglades, Heritage Limited, and Black Diamond series, though the latter moniker is now being used as the name for a newly optional package. The Bronco Base is making a comeback after being absent for one model year, and the new Stroppe Edition is effectively taking the place of the Wildtrak, while the retro-themed Free Wheeling Package is also making its debut.
As for the rest of the lineup, the 12-inch digital gauge cluster is now included as standard equipment, and the Bronco Badlands has gained the HOSS 3.0 suspension as an option. In four-door models equipped with the 10-speed automatic transmission, the rear HVAC vents have moved from the floor to the rear portion of the center console, though much of the lineup has lost its grab handles. The 2025 Ford Bronco Raptor is adding three new exterior color options – Marsh Gray, Desert Sand, and Ruby Red – though six others have been deleted – Cactus Gray, Iconic Silver, Hot Pepper Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Peak Blue, Race Red, and Yellowstone.
