Though it isn’t undergoing any kind of mid-cycle refresh as of yet, the sixth-generation Ford Bronco is being treated to a host of notable updates for the 2025 model year, regardless. One of the most notable is the addition of the new 2025 Ford Bronco Stroppe Edition, which is effectively replacing the Wildtrak trim in the SUV’s lineup and was just revealed last week. Now, Ford Authority has spotted the new 2025 Ford Bronco Stroppe Edition in person, giving us our first real-world look at a model designed to pay tribute to the rich history of the Bronco in general.
The 2025 Ford Bronco Stroppe Edition pays homage to Bill Stroppe, who became the first – and only – person to win the Baja 1000 in a factory stock four-wheel drive vehicle back in 1969. It features the same sort of color scheme as the road-going variants that were later sold to the public, too. Offered exclusively in two-door configuration, the Bronco Stroppe Edition is equipped with a matte black hood, Frozen White grille with Code Orange “Bronco” script, a steel bumper, and Code Orange tow hooks up front.
Moving down the side, we can see special Stroppe Badging, along with squared-off wheel arches, removable side steps with integrated rock rails, and 17-inch beadlock capable wheels wrapped with 35-inch Goodyear Territory RT tires. We also get a better look at the SUV’s unique paint job, which consists of Oxford White and Code Orange on the body, along with Atlas Blue covering the removable hardtop. The treatment is capped off with a matte black tailgate, to boot – a look that inspired Ford to release a special merchandise collection for the Bronco Stroppe Edition, too.
Underneath, the 2025 Ford Bronco Stroppe Special Edition features the automaker’s HOSS 3.0 suspension system with Fox internal-bypass dampers and Stabilizer Bar Disconnect, plus the twin turbocharged 2.7L V6 EcoBoost engine and 10-speed automatic transmission as standard. Inside the cabin, one will find a white instrument mid-panel along with various Code Orange accents including the Bronco script on the dash, the G.O.A.T. mode dial bezel, the insides of the grab handles, and in the contrast stitching on the dash topper and seats, while the center console sports a Stroppe Special Edition badge.
In addition to the new 2025 Ford Bronco Stroppe Edition, the SUV’s lineup for the new year is also adding another retro-style variant to the mix – the Free Wheeling Package, which brings back a look popular in the past. The trim level lineup has been revised with the addition of the Stroppe Edition taking the place of the Wildtrak, while the Everglades and Heritage Limited are gone, with the Black Diamond being replaced by an optional package for the Big Bend, too. Meanwhile, the Base model is making a comeback following a one-year absence.
Inside the cabin, the 2025 Ford Bronco lineup gains the 12-inch digital gauge cluster as standard equipment, as well as rear HVAC vents that have moved from the floor to the rear portion of the center console, at least, for four-door models equipped with the 10-speed automatic transmission.

If there ever was a more useless special edition, this is it.
It’s strange how the color of a vehicle can make it look worth the price or look cheap no matter what the price. That paint scheme is at the top of the cheap look. Also the lines and the way the body panels are molded make a huge difference. What I have found with Ford for many years is how plain and cheap looking there vehicles are. It’s like there designer are old cranky men.
I do really like the Bronco and I just purchased a Bronco Sport Badlands. But again color can make or break the look.
