2025 Ford Bronco Trims Get Standard Heated Steering Wheel

Though it has yet to receive a mid-cycle refresh, the sixth-generation Ford Bronco is entering the 2025 model year sporting a rather long list of updates – in some cases, notable and/or significant ones. This includes the typical exterior color changes and addition/deletion of certain features, but also, a pretty big trim level lineup revamp and the debut of a pair of new variants. That list isn’t complete just yet, however, and now includes the addition of a heated steering wheel as standard equipment on certain trims.

According to Bronco Nation, those trims are the Outer Banks, Badlands, and Raptor, which all get the heated steering wheel as standard in the 2025 Ford Bronco – previously, that feature was part of the High/Lux Package, which has been renamed as the Lux Package for the new year. The same is true of ambient footwell lighting, which was previously part of the Mid Package, but now, it’s standard across the entire 2025 Ford Bronco lineup.

Aside from these changes, the 2025 Ford Bronco lineup has been treated to a host of other updates for the new model year, too. Those changes include a trim level lineup reshuffling that includes the deletion of the Wildtrak, Everglades, Heritage Limited, and Black Diamond series, though the latter moniker is now being used as the name for a newly optional package. The Bronco Base is making a comeback after being absent for one model year, and the new Stroppe Edition is effectively taking the place of the Wildtrak, while the retro-themed Free Wheeling Package is also making its debut.

As for the rest of the lineup, the 12-inch digital gauge cluster is now included as standard equipment, the Bronco Badlands has gained the HOSS 3.0 suspension as an option, and the FITS system present in the Ford Maverick is now available, too. In four-door models equipped with the 10-speed automatic transmission, the rear HVAC vents have moved from the floor to the rear portion of the center console, though much of the lineup has lost its grab handles and the entire range has ditched the wireless charging pad. Finally, the 2025 Ford Bronco Raptor is adding three new exterior color options, but is also losing a total of six.
