2025 Ford Mustang GTD In Yellow: Live Photo Gallery

Following its debut last year, the 2025 Ford Mustang GTD has thus far garnered more than its fair share of attention, and for good reason. After all, we are talking about the fastest production pony car in history that seems designed to become the first American vehicle in general to lap Germany’s Nurburgring in less than seven minutes. Though its lofty price tag and limited production run ensure that it will only wind up in the hands of the rich and famous, that won’t stop us from admiring the 2025 Ford Mustang GTD – including this bright yellow example.

Recently spotted by Ford Authority, this 2025 Ford Mustang GTD is finished in an unknown shade of yellow, as the model’s full list of exterior color options hasn’t yet been revealed. It could be Yellow Splash, which is currently offered across the regular Mustang lineup, but that’s unclear at the moment. Regardless, to date, we’ve only seen the GTD in a small handful of hues, so this sighting is certainly notable.

As Ford Authority previously reported, Ford Mustang GTD customers can choose from one of six regular exterior color options, or what FoMoCo calls an “Extended Color Palette,” which allows owners to access thousands of other colors and choose one of those, pending approval from the company. Alternatively, owners can also go for the Exclusive Extended Color Palette Lock-Out Option, which actually guarantees that no other owner can pick that same color for their ride.

While we eagerly await deliveries of the 2025 Ford Mustang GTD to begin, we’re only days away from the release of the new feature film dubbed “Road to the Ring,” which will document the automaker’s mission to lap the Nurburgring in less than seven minutes. Equipped with a supercharged 5.2L V8 that generates 815 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque – plus extreme aero and even a Drag Reduction System that help it reach a top speed of 202 miles-per-hour, it certainly seems possible that the automaker has already hit that mark in the new Mustang GTD, however.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
