2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E Headed To Australia

The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E was revealed just last week, bearing a host of updates that are certainly notable, even if they don’t add up to a full-blown mid-cycle refresh for the EV crossover. This has become something of the norm for the Mach-E, which debuted for the 2021 model year and has been treated to numerous changes and improvements with each turn of the calendar, including a handful of significant updates for 2024, too. Now, the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E is heading to Australia, in addition to other markets that it will be sold in.

“The updated MY25 Mustang Mach-E will arrive in Australia in the second half of 2025. We look forward to confirming exact specifications closer to launch,” a Ford Australia spokesperson confirmed to CarExpert. This isn’t a huge surprise given the fact that the Ford Mustang Mach-E has been on sale in that country for some time now, but it confirms that this will continue to be the case, at least, even if exact specs haven’t been confirmed for Australia as of yet, nor any sort of pricing.

Regardless, the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E destined for the U.S. is receiving a new standard heat pump, which helps optimize energy consumption – particularly in colder weather conditions – and results in less range loss in that regard. Additionally, the Premium trim is gaining the new Sport Appearance Package, which adds select Mach-E GT styling cues such as its front fascia, grille shield, and red-painted Brembo front brake calipers, plus black-painted door cladding and wheel lips, and a set of 19-inch monochromatic high-gloss black-painted wheels.

Inside the cabin, this optional package adds red accent stitching and sport pedals, while ventilated seats are now standard on all Premium models. All 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E crossovers are ditching the old center-mounted dial shifter as well, replacing it with a column shifter that frees up some console space. As Ford Authority previously reported, the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E will be the first to get the new BlueCruise 1.5 update, which is adding an Automatic Lane Change feature, though it hasn’t yet revealed a timeline for that rollout.

Additionally, the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E is gaining the new Ford Connectivity Package, which includes a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capable of handling up to 10 devices at distances of up to 50 feet away from the vehicle, a variety of apps via the in-vehicle screen, and maps features like EV Trip Planner, Predictive Destinations, and Route Guidance as part of Connected Navigation. When customers order their new Mach-E, they will receive a one-year complimentary trial upon activation, after which they can set up an annual plan or make a one-time purchase.

As for exterior color updates, the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E is getting three new options – Molten Magenta Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Velocity Blue Metallic, and Desert Sand – along with a Dark Carbonized Gray wheel for the Mach-E Rally. The updated EV crossover is slated to go on sale in the U.S. in early 2025, with a base price of $36,495 – cheaper than the current starting MSRP of $39,995 for the entry-level Select trim.
