The ever-popular Ford Super Duty was treated to a redesign for the 2023 model year, but as is usually the case in the hyper-competitive heavy-duty truck world, we’ve seen more minor changes take place in the two model years since. In fact, the 2025 Ford Super Duty has received quite a few notable updates for the new year, as Ford Authority has covered extensively as of late. Now, the 2025 Ford Super Duty is set to add yet another feature to its existing bevy of them.
That feature is trailer tire pressure monitoring, which has been added to the 2025 Ford Super Duty lineup in a variety of dealer-installed packages. That starts with the Aux Camera and Trailer TPMS package, which can be spec’d on XL and XLT trimmed pickups for $980 but also requires the 360-Degree Camera. 2025 Ford Super Duty XL and XLT trucks can also be had with the Trailer TPMS and Fifth Wheel/Gooseneck BLIS package (which requires the 360-Degree Camera, too) with the STX Appearance Package or XLT Premium Package for $1,700.
Next up, we have the Aux Camera Trailer TPMS and Fifth Wheel/Goosneck BLIS package (which requires the 360-Degree Camera as well) for the XL and XLT with the STX Appearance Package or XLT Premium Package for $1,330. Finally, the Individual Trailer TPMS package can be added to the 2025 Ford Super Duty for an extra $580, too. Along with these new packages and swapping out the Sport package for the Black Appearance Package, the 2025 Ford Super Duty has been treated to an array of other notable updates for the new model year, too.
The 2025 Super Duty has ditched a handful of chrome trim pieces for the new year, as Ford Authority recently reported. Also, the 2025 Ford Super Duty Platinum trim has received a few notable updates, including a painted black grille and tailgate appliqué, along with body-color door handles, while inside the cabin, the luxurious hauler has been treated to a new Black Onyx theme with Platinum Blue accents. On top of that, the 2025 Ford Super Duty is also now available with the new Platinum Plus Package, which replaces the Limited trim and adds a unique satin finish grille up front with bright chrome inserts, a Smoked Truffle interior theme with perforated Venetian Leather seating surfaces and French stitching, plus Max Recline seats and a special ownership experience, to boot. As for the Lariat trim, it’s ditching leather upholstery for ActiveX, too.
In addition to becoming just the latest FoMoCo model to get rid of the factory SecuriCode keypad, the 2025 Ford Super Duty has also ditched a handful of configurations that include the SuperCab with a 148-inch wheelbase, SuperCab Lariat models, and SuperCab F-350 and F-450 dual rear wheel pickups. In terms of powertrains, the gas 6.8L V8 is now standard equipment on the XL, XLT, and Lariat trims, while the gas 7.3L V8 is standard on the King Ranch and Platinum. Pricing hasn’t changed much, however, save for the Lariat, which received a somewhat substantial boost for 2025.
As Ford Authority recently reported, 2025 Ford Super Duty production is currently scheduled to begin at the Kentucky Truck plant on December 2nd, 2024, followed by the Ohio Assembly plant on January 21st, 2025, though as always, these dates is subject to change.
