Fresh of undergoing a total redesign for the 2023 model year, the 2025 Ford Super Duty is set to receive a few notable updates, too, though nothing that would constitute a mid-cycle refresh. Rather, The Blue Oval is tweaking its heavy-duty hauler’s trim level lineup, standard engine offerings, configurations, and pricing, all with an eye toward staying competitive in one of the more heated segments in the business. Now, sources familiar with the matter have told Ford Authority when we can expect 2025 Ford Super Duty production to begin, too.
Currently, 2025 Ford Super Duty production is slated to begin at the Kentucky Truck plant on December 2nd, 2024, followed by the Ohio Assembly plant on January 21st, 2025. As is always the case, these dates are subject to change, but for now at least, we can pencil them in. Once deliveries of the new model year pickup begin, customers will find that a few interesting changes have taken place compared to the 2024 model year, however.
For starters, the 2025 Ford Super Duty Platinum trim has received a few notable updates, including a painted black grille and tailgate appliqué, along with body-color door handles, while inside the cabin, the luxurious hauler has been treated to a new Black Onyx theme with Platinum Blue accents. On top of that, the 2025 Ford Super Duty is also now available with the new Platinum Plus Package, which replaces the Limited trim and adds a unique satin finish grille up front with bright chrome inserts, a Smoked Truffle interior theme with perforated Venetian Leather seating surfaces and French stitching, plus Max Recline seats and a special ownership experience, to boot.
In addition to becoming just the latest FoMoCo model to get rid of the factory SecuriCode keypad, the 2025 Ford Super Duty has also ditched a handful of configurations that include the SuperCab with a 148-inch wheelbase, SuperCab Lariat models, and SuperCab F-350 and F-450 dual rear wheel pickups. In terms of powertrains, the gas 6.8L V8 is now standard equipment on the XL, XLT, and Lariat trims, while the gas 7.3L V8 is standard on the King Ranch and Platinum. Pricing hasn’t changed much, however, save for the Lariat, which received a somewhat substantial boost for 2025.

It's well-broken in at 129K miles.
