The Cup Series race at Las Vegas has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean betting is off the table for the rest of the season. Homestead-Miami Speedway is up next, and it’s a good idea to put money on the NASCAR Ford teams this weekend.
The latest odds from NASCAR.com place Ryan Blaney as the safest bet in the NASCAR Ford field. Despite a lackluster run at Vegas, Blaney has 12-1 odds of putting the No. 12 NASCAR Ford Mustang Dark Horse in Victory Lane at Homestead. Joey Logano isn’t a bad bet, either – the Vegas winner has 17-1 odds of winning in the No. 22 Mustang this weekend.
Brad Keselowski, driver of the No. 6 Mustang, isn’t a bad bet, either. At 22-1 odds, don’t be surprised if his No. 6 NASCAR Ford crosses the line ahead of the pack at Homestead. It’s quite a jump to the next-best Blue Oval Racer, who has 40-1 odds of winning this weekend. That’s Chris Buescher, who drives the No. 17 Mustang. Meanwhile, the No. 14 Mustang of Chase Briscoe is a bit of a longer shot at 55-1 odds, but he could still make it happen.
A riskier bet would be Austin Cindric. The driver of the No. 2 NASCAR Ford has 90-1 odds of winning, but bettors would receive a good payout if he makes it happen. Noah Gragson is up next; his No. 10 Mustang has 100-1 odds of winning at homestead, right on par with Josh Berry, driver of the No. 4 Mustang.
Michael McDowell is a longshot as well at 250-1 odds of winning in his No. 34 Mustang, along with Corey LaJoie, the driver currently in control of the No. 51 Mustang. Todd Gilliland is also a longshot at 300-1 odds in the No. 38 Mustang, along with Ryan Preece, who drives the No. 41 Mustang. Finally, Harrison Burton is the longest shot in the NASCAR Ford stable at 400-1 odds of winning at Homestead.
The Cup Series race at Homestead is scheduled for October 27th, 2024.
