Ford Argentina sales increased nine percent to 3,645 units in August 2024 compared to August 2023 results. The figures placed Ford as the fifth best-selling car brand in Argentina, behind Toyota, Volkswagen, Fiat and Peugeot.
Individual model sales performance was as follows:
- Ford Bronco sales totaled 4 units
- Ford Bronco Sport sales increased 626.67 percent to 109 units
- Ford EcoSport sales decreased 100 percent to 0 units
- Ford F-Series sales increased 145 percent to 49 units
- Ford Kuga sales totaled 8 units
- Ford Maverick sales increased 81.18 percent to 337 units
- Ford Mustang sales increased 100 percent to 6 units
- Ford Ranger sales decreased 18.87 percent to 2,180 units
- Ford Territory sales increased 168.97 percent to 780 units
- Ford Transit sales increased 21.48 percent to 164 units
During the first nine months of the 2024 calendar year, Ford Argentina sales decreased 5.7 percent to 27,206 units.

The Ford Authority Take
Ford Argentina sales once again rose healthily in September. The Blue Oval’s hot streak in the Argentine market expanded over the past month, which represented the fourth consecutive monthly increase for FoMoCo in the South American country.
Despite the best-selling Ford Ranger suffering a notable double-digit drop in the month, Ford Argentina’s strong September result was driven by significant triple-digit increases across most models. In addition to the Ford Bronco Sport with the highest growth rate, the Ford Transit had the most significant volume increase by adding almost 500 units year-over-year.
Also noteworthy is the solid growth of the Ford Maverick, which continues to increase its popularity among Argentine customers. Meanwhile, the Ford Ranger was the only active model in the portfolio that suffered a drop in sales, losing 507 units compared to the same month last year.
