Ford Chile Sales Jump 16 Percent In September 2024

Ford Chile sales increased 16 percent to 1,478 units in September 2024. The figures place Ford as the sixth country’s best-selling automobile brand during the month, behind Toyota, Hyundai, Kia, Suzuki and Chevrolet.

The Ford Authority Take

After suffering a setback in August, Ford Chile sales increased by a healthy margin September. The Blue Oval added more than 200 units year-on-year and improved its level of competitiveness in the Chilean market for the month, regaining the momentum it had set in several previous months. In fact, the 1,449 deliveries represent its second best record so far in 2024.

Ford Chile’s strong sales performance in September was supported by significant double-digit increases in at least three of the brand’s models, including the best-selling Ford Ranger. The midsize pickup again stood out and ranked second among all the country’s best-selling vehicles in the month, only behind the Toyota Hilux.

In addition, the Ford Territory also contributed positively to the brand by adding more than 100 units year-over-year. However, the crossover had a significant contraction when compared to the 438 units moved in August. For its part, the Ford Transit recorded the highest increase both in the month and in the cumulative sales to date for 2024.
