Ford has made it quite clear that it’s focused on attracting owners of other-branded vehicles to The Blue Oval in recent years, and it has thus far backed up that statement by offering a variety of conquest-style incentives, too. These incentives are targeted specifically at the owners of automotive brands or models that don’t have a Ford or Lincoln badge, giving those folks what is typically a sizable bonus to ditch it in favor of one of those two brands. Now, those that own a Ram pickup can take advantage of a new conquest incentive that can be applied toward the purchase of a Ford F-150, too.
According to a dealer bulletin recently seen by CarsDirect, Ram owners shopping for a 2023 or 2024 Ford F-150 model – as well as the all-electric Ford F-150 Lightning – are eligible for a variety of conquest discounts that vary by region. In most areas, the discount comes in at $1,000 off the purchase price of eligible models, though in certain areas – including California – that discount can be as high as $2,000.
Aside from that state, Ram owners in a number of other markets – including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Phoenix – can take advantage of this conquest deal, too. However, it seems as if the Raptor isn’t eligible – which is usually the case with that high-performance variant in terms of any kind of incentives – though others, like the Tremor, are. Regardless, it’s a notable offer given the fact that the Ford F-150 outpaced the Ram in terms of sales by a large margin through the first three quarters of 2024.
This is just the latest of several conquest incentives Ford has launched in recent months, however. That list also includes a number of deals revolving around the Ford Bronco targeted at Jeep, Subaru, and Toyota owners, while Tesla owners also recently got a similar offer if they purchased or leased an F-150 Lightning, too.
