Ford Mustang Reservations Open Up For Argentina

As Ford Authority previously reported, the all-new S650 generation 2024 Ford Mustang GT Performance model was earmarked for the South American country of Argentina later this year, where that particular pony car was set to open up for pre-orders in August, after which The Blue Oval said deliveries would begin in September. However, that didn’t happen, though now, reservations for the newest Ford Mustang are officially open in Argentina, just a bit later than previously expected.

The Ford Mustang GT Performance is the latest Ford Performance model to launch in South America following that division’s own debut there this past August, and it’s only being sold in one guise, which is also the case in Brazil. The 2024 Ford Mustang GT Performance model comes equipped with an array of desirable equipment, including the 5.0L V8 Coyote engine, and it’s mated exclusively to the 10-speed automatic transmission, along with the Remote Rev feature, which FoMoCo’s Brazilian engineering team helped develop.

Other notable mechanical upgrades include the MagneRide suspension system, stabilizer bars taken from the last-gen Mach 1, Brembo brakes with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers, and unique wheels wrapped with P-Zero 255/40 R19 tires up front and 275/40 R19 in the rear. The Ford Mustang GT Performance is available in three colors in Argentina – Ebony Black, Steam Blue, and Mercury Gray, with a starting price of 113,900,250 pesos ($116,910 USD). Customers in Argentina who are interested in purchasing the new pony car can now reserve one via their preferred dealer or at www.Ford.com.ar, and deliveries are expected to begin in November.

The arrival of the latest-generation pony car continues a tradition that stems back to 2016, which is when the Mustang first went on sale in Argentina, where it quickly became the best-selling sports car in that country – a title that it still holds to this day. The new Mustang joins a handful of other fresh products in Argentina, including the Ford Bronco Wildtrak and E-Transit.
