Ford Owners Impacted By Hurricanes Can Get Payment Relief

In recent years, Ford Credit has offered financial relief for customers that have been victims of all sorts of natural disasters, typically, granting those owners the ability to delay one or more monthly payments if needed. We’ve seen the automaker’s financial arm do this time and time again, whether it be following devastating fires, hurricanes, tornados, or just bad winter storms, most recently extending a helping hand to victims of Hurricane Beryl in Texas this past July. Now, in the wake of another pair of horrible storms, Ford Credit and Lincoln Automotive Financial Services are once again looking to give customers some relief in that regard.

This new offer pertains to Ford Credit or Lincoln Automotive Financial Services customers affected by Hurricanes Francine or Helene, who are eligible to receive a payment extension of up to 60 days. To take advantage of this offer, customers must live in counties that are eligible for the FEMA Individuals and Households Program. If that applies, Ford and Lincoln owners can request a payment extension by visiting www.ford.com/finance or through the Ford Credit app. Customers can also call – a requirement for those that lease – 1-800-723-4016 to request disaster relief.

It is worth noting that interest may continue to accrue on these deferred payments, but at the very least, this program gives customers a little financial flexibility as they work to take care of more important things – such as procuring necessary supplies like food and water, and working to fix property damage.

Additionally, customers that wish to lease or purchase a new vehicle may also qualify for payment deferrals for up to 120 days with financing from Ford Credit or Lincoln Automotive Financial Services. This customers can contact their local Ford or Lincoln dealerships in Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee or Virginia by November 13th for eligibility and details.
