The official licensed, Blue Oval-themed restaurant chain known as Ford’s Garage started out small with a few locations in Florida, but has since expanded in rapid fashion across the U.S. With FoMoCo’s official blessing, Ford’s Garage is enjoying a surge of business from fans of the automaker and folks that just appreciate its many pieces of vintage memorabilia, as well as its food and beverage offerings, it seems. Now, Ford’s Garage is giving back to some of the folks that have helped fuel its success in the form of free meals.
According to Local Profile, Ford’s Garage will be handing out free food on National First Responders Day, which is October 28th, for a variety of first responders including military veterans, active-duty military, police officers, firefighters, nurses, doctors, and medical staff, who only need to show a valid service ID at any Ford’s Garage location to take advantage. They’ll then be treated to either the American standard burger – which is a half-pound black Angus patty with American cheese, tomato, lettuce, red onion, and pickles on a brioche bun – or any other entree valued at up to $15, all for free.
Ford’s Garage is offering this particular promotion as part of its partnership with the non-profit organization known as the First Responders Children’s Foundation (FRCF), which gives the families of fallen first responders in need some financial assistance. Additionally, Ford’s Garage is selling t-shirts for $18 through the rest of October to help support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with all of those proceeds going to the non-profit Pink Fund, which provides financial assistance to those undergoing breast cancer treatment.
In addition to serving as an official watch location for the Kentucky Derby, Ford’s Garage has opened multiple new locations in recent months as it continues its rapid expansion. Those locations include Rosemont, Illinois, Short Pump, Virginia, and Long Island, New York – the latter of which will be the first location in the Empire State.
