Poll: Is The 2025 Lincoln Navigator Cabin Better Than The 2024?

In the automotive world, automakers are continuously tweaking products in an effort to make them more appealing – with many of those changes pertaining to things like technology features or mechanicals. However, styling is a bit more of a mixed bag given how incredibly subjective it can be. What looks great to one person may be horrific to another, and we’ve certainly seen that play out in the Blue Oval universe as of late with the undoubtedly controversial 2025 Ford Maverick refresh. As for the refreshed 2025 Lincoln Navigator, well, it also has its fair share of fans and critics.

Recently, Ford Authority asked our readers what they think about the exterior styling updates present on the 2025 Lincoln Navigator, and whether or not they prefer it to the outgoing 2024 model. The responses were decidedly mixed, with many preferring the abundance of chrome present on the older version of the luxurious SUV, as well as its pre-refresh front and rear end designs. Thus, we’re curious to hear what our readers think of the even more substantial changes that have taken place inside of the 2025 Lincoln Navigator.

Those updates include the addition of a massive 48-inch panoramic display spanning the entire width of the dash, coupled with an 11.1-inch center touchscreen running the new Lincoln Digital Experience software. Google Assistant serves as the default voice assistant, enabling users to control things like the music, navigation, and climate controls, and owners also gain access to a bevy of apps via the Google Play store, while BlueCruise is included as standard across the lineup.

Other notable additions include a flat-top and bottom steering wheel design, which is wrapped in Wollsdorf leather-wrapped and heated, as well as a 24-way power adjustable driver’s seat, a 22-way power adjustable passenger seat, up to 14 USB ports, loads of premium leather, wood trim, a crystal-inspired volume knob, optional second-row Power Tailored captain’s chairs, and a power-folding soft-touch bench seat in the third row.

Thus, all of this begs the question – is the 2025 Lincoln Navigator cabin an upgrade over the outgoing model, or has it gotten a bit too tech-heavy for the SUV’s targeted audience? Let us know what you think in the poll below!

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

  1. Too much screen tech in the 25. Some of still prefer a knob ot button to control things.

    1. The screens are used in the new Nautilus, which I bought — and are not distracting at all.

  2. The 2025 looks much better with the screens integrated into the dash design, the 2024 has the glued on ipad look. I also like the diamond pattern 2025 seats better. No interest without a V8 though, lol.

  3. The 2025 is a cleaner, sleeker look with an integrated screen. I’ll withhold judgement on the new steering wheel until I actually drive one.

    1. I have the new Nautilus with the new steering wheel. I got used to it immediately — there’s absolutely nothing awkward about it and there’s no learning curve.

  4. I really like the look of the 2024 (full disclosure – I own a 2020 Navigator) – the dash has a warm, mid-century feel to it. Also I like the physical buttons and knobs – Ford was smart enough to use higher-end stuff than in the Expedition. But the new dash and interior could be very nice – will just have to see one before I know for sure. One concern – it appears that some physical controls (HVAC?) have now been moved into the lower touchscreen – I’m not sure that is an upgrade but it likely saves cost.

  5. The new instrument panel is a game changer. Once you experience it, nothing else will satisfy you. Why? Everything is up high, so the screens are much less distracting. And the squarish top and bottom of the steering wheel means easier entry/exit and no obstruction when looking over it to see the instrumentation.

  6. Both 2024 and 2025 looks good all the way around. I’ll have to check out the 2025 next service.

  7. Stuck with crappy Google Software in the 2025. Sync 4 was much better.

  9. This vehicle, just like most Ford products will eventually be recalled, it’s too high of sticker price will keep sales lower than the low sales of the 2024 model.
