Las Vegas is all about taking risks, which might mean putting money on The Blue Oval to win this weekend’s Cup Series race in Sin City. If you’re a sports betting enthusiast, the NASCAR Ford drivers have a mixed bag of odds to visit victory lane at Vegas, which begs the question: which ones are safe bets, and which ones should be avoided?
According to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway betting odds on NASCAR.com, Cody Ware is the longest shot in the field at 1,000-1 odds of wining in the No. 15 Ford Mustang Dark Horse. It’s quite a jump to Corey LaJoie – who now drives the No. 51 NASCAR Ford after swapping with Justin Haley – who has 400-1 odds of winning. Todd Gilliland’s No. 38 Mustang has 300-1 odds of winning this weekend, while his teammate, Michael McDowell, has 350-1 odds of putting the No. 34 Mustang in Victory Lane.
Harrison Burton has 200-1 odds of winning in the No. 21 NASCAR Ford, while Josh Berry’s No. 4 Mustang has 400-1 odds of victory at Vegas. Noah Gragson has slightly better odds of 80-1 of winning in the No. 10 Mustang, followed by Austin Cindric, who is favored at 70-1 odds of victory this weekend despite being eliminated from the Playoffs last weekend.
Chase Briscoe is a safer bet at 60-1 odds of putting the No. 14 Mustang in Victory Lane at Vegas; Chris Buescher’s No. 17 NASCAR Ford has 35-1 odds of doing the same. Brad Keselowski has an even better shot at the win with 30-1 odds of putting the No. 6 Mustang across the line first.
Ryan Blaney, one of two NASCAR Ford drivers still in the hunt for the 2024 title, has 11-1 odds of winning at Vegas in the No. 12 Mustang. Joey Logano, past Vegas winner, is the safest bet in The Blue Oval’s stable at 10-1 odds of victory this weekend.
The Cup Series race at Vegas is scheduled for Sunday, October 20th, 2024 at 2 p.m. EST.
