These days, the Fox Body Ford Mustang is one of the hottest entities on the collector car circuit, which isn’t terribly surprising given the fact that many of us grew up either owning one or dreaming of the day that we might. Fast forward decades, and a lot of Fox Body fans are clamoring to add nice examples to their garage, whether that be to collect, drive and enjoy, or modify. However, we doubt that anyone will be driving or modifying this stellar 1993 Ford Mustang GT, as it somehow has just 400 original miles showing on the odometer.
This incredible time capsule of a 1993 Ford Mustang GT is now up for auction at Bring a Trailer after the seller acquired it back in September of 2021. Since then, the current owner has put a whopping five miles on the car, likely just moving it around, and as one might imagine, it’s in utterly perfect condition. There are zero flaws noted on its Vibrant Red paint, and it’s in bone stock condition with all the factory GT goodies such as its unique bodywork, rear spoiler, and 16-inch Pony wheels.
The same is true of the interior, which looks like it just emerged from the assembly line with perfect black cloth and vinyl seats, unblemished dash and trim, and a steering wheel that doesn’t look like it’s ever been touched. As far as amenities goes, this pony car has front seat power lumbar support, air conditioning, cruise control, a cassette stereo, and power windows and door locks. Power, of course, comes from the naturally-aspirated Ford 5.0L V8 originally rated to generate 205 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque, and it’s mated to a proper five-speed manual transmission.
We’ve certainly seen our fair share of nice, low-mile Fox Body Ford Mustang models go up for auction as of late, but nothing quite this low. Rather, our most recent list includes a 1993 convertible with 4k miles, a 1988 GT with 17k miles, as well as another 1993 GT with 40k miles.

If you think all the current-gen Mustang crashes are “interesting”, these things were downright SCARY by comparison.
