Long known for building and selling a large variety of luxurious sedans, Lincoln transitioned to crossovers and SUVs a few years ago. However, Ford’s luxurious arm also tried its hands at pickups on two different occasions, via the one-year-only Lincoln Blackwood and the Lincoln Mark LT, both of which were based on the Ford F-150. The Blackwood has since become a bit of a collector’s item, but we also see a Lincoln Mark LT pop up for sale at auction from time to time as well, and that now includes this very nice 2006 example.
This 2006 Lincoln Mark LT is currently up for auction at Bring a Trailer with around 78k miles on the clock, but there are no exterior flaws noted in the listing. Rather, the black paint shines like new, and is offset by lots of chrome, as was customary with this model. Unlike the Blackwood, the Mark LT looked very much like an F-150 from this era, and only differs in a couple of areas – such as up front with a signature Lincoln-style grille, and out back with its own unique tailgate.
The same is true of the interior, though it features more amenities and luxuries than an F-150. Those include Dove Grey and black leather upholstery, heated seats, ebony wood trim, automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows and door locks, and the factory AM/FM stereo with an in-dash six-disc CD changer. There is some wear on the outer bolster of the driver’s seat, which isn’t unusual by any means. As for power, it comes from the Ford 5.4L V8, which was factory-rated to produce 300 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque and is mated to the four-speed automatic transmission.
Aside from this example, we’ve only seen a couple of Lincoln Mark LT pickups auctioned off recently, including a 2006 model with 55k miles, as well as a 2007 with 57k miles. Those that wish to own a Lincoln pickup like these will have to resort to the used market for now, as there’s currently no plan to sell a new one – though that possibility hasn’t been completely ruled out, either.

There was nothing luxurious about this truck. Just anF150 with a changed grille texture, added bodyside and tailgate trim, and leather seats. BFD. Still hard plastic door trim and instrument panel trim. Still manual seat recliners. Still a cheap whip antenna. This truck debased the Lincoln name.
