2025 Ford Bronco Gets Updated B&O Sound System

Though it has yet to receive a mid-cycle refresh, the sixth-generation Ford Bronco has been updated in many ways with each passing model year since it originally launched for 2021, and that tradition continues with the 2025 model. In fact, the 2025 Ford Bronco is arguably undergoing more changes than any model year thus far, which include a major trim level lineup reshuffling and the addition/deletion of several features. One such change pertains to the B&O sound system that’s available in the 2025 Ford Bronco, which is set to receive some improvements for the new model year.

The 2025 Ford Bronco B&O audio system now consists of 12 speakers rather than 10, as was previously the case. On top of that, the sound system is getting upgraded speakers, a new subwoofer, and a higher-output amplifier, to boot. The B&O audio system is currently included in the Lux Package, which is optional on the Outer Banks and Badlands trims, as well as standard equipment on the new Stroppe Edition and Raptor.

This is one of many changes in store for the 2025 Ford Bronco, which is getting the Base trim back following a one-year absence, which will be joined by the new Stroppe Edition and Free Wheeling Package. The Wildtrak, Everglades, Heritage Limited, and Black Diamond series have been deleted, though the latter moniker is now being used as the name for a newly optional package. 2025 Ford Bronco models equipped with the turbocharged 2.3L I-4 EcoBoost engine now come standard with Electric Brake Boost rather than the old vacuum brake boost setup. The entire lineup is getting ambient footwell lighting as standard equipment, while the heated steering wheel is included as standard on the Outer Banks, Badlands, and Raptor trims, and most trims can also now be spec’d with the new Black Appearance Package.

The 12-inch digital gauge cluster is now included as standard equipment, the Bronco Badlands has gained the HOSS 3.0 suspension as an option, and the FITS system present in the Ford Maverick is now available, too. In four-door models equipped with the 10-speed automatic transmission, the rear HVAC vents have moved from the floor to the rear portion of the center console, though much of the lineup has lost its grab handles and the entire range has ditched the wireless charging pad. Finally, the 2025 Ford Bronco Raptor is adding three new exterior color options, but is also losing a total of six. The 2025 Ford Bronco isn’t getting any sort of price increase, however – save for the Base trim, as it’s a little over $3,000 pricier than it was for the 2023 model year.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

  1. Ford audio has always been low-end, especially after they stopped using Sony and switched to Bang and Olufson. A $30k Mazda shouldn’t have a better sounding stereo than a $62k Explorer but here we are.. STEP IT UP FORD!!!!!
